How to Use

1. Grind and dose coffee into your portafilter basket.
2. Place the IKAPE UniPress directly over the coffee grounds.
3. Press vertically using moderate pressure.
4. Repeat approximately three times for effective distribution and compression.
5. Remove the UniPress and proceed with espresso extraction.

Recommended Usage

• Coffee Roast: Best suited for medium-dark and dark roast coffee beans.
• Lighter Roasts: For light, medium-light or medium roast coffee, a separate tamper is recommended to achieve sufficient puck compression.
• Filter Baskets: Recommended for standard slow-flow baskets and convex stepped baskets.
• High-Extraction Baskets: When using fast-flow or high-extraction baskets, additional tamping with a conventional coffee tamper is recommended.
• Pressing Technique: Apply moderate vertical pressure approximately three times. Avoid excessive force.
